John Foth joins Concordia Group as a Summer Intern and Public Affairs Associate, bringing with him a rare blend of academic achievement, genuine public service, and natural leadership. Currently enrolled at the University of Iowa’s Tippie College of Business, John is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance after earning a 4.15 GPA and a spot on the Presidential Honor Roll all eight semesters at Dowling Catholic High School.

Before coming to Concordia Group, John spent two summers as a coordinator at Camp Champs in West Des Moines, where he supervised and supported children with a wide range of diverse needs — facilitating inclusive activities and demonstrating the kind of reliability and care that high-responsibility environments demand. That same spirit of service has carried into his work at the Iowa State Capitol, where John has actively engaged with legislators and staff on policy discussions, participated in hearings, and advocated on issues he believes in.

A three-year varsity soccer captain at Dowling Catholic, John led his team to three consecutive state tournament appearances and a runner-up finish, and was recognized with the John Hayes Award — honoring dedication to athletics, academics, service, and faith. Whether leading a team on the field or speaking up in the halls of the Capitol, John has consistently stepped forward when it matters.
